WHAT IS P4p?
Pen for Progress is a student-run organization aiming to inspire youth writers. we hope to foster creativity and innovation through our annual writing competitions centered around themes of community!
WHy should I submit?
In addition to stimulating their creative inspiration, competition winners will be awarded accordingly and published on the website.
What are the awards?
First Place winners will have the opportunity to obtain a multi-session one-on-one mentorship with a previously published writer and/or professor. They will be put into contact following the announcement of the winners.
Second and third place winners will be awarded a cash prize of $100 each.
All winners and runner-ups are invited to attend an online read-aloud event hosted to present their works. This is open to the public.
All recognized works (Including Runner-Ups) will be published on our website gallery.
